Teen jailed in overnight Opelika shooting that killed 1, wounded 2
A Tuskegee teen has been charged after a Thursday night shooting in Opelika that left one person dead, and two others injured.
The shooting happened at 10:40 p.m. in the 700 block of Herndon Street.
Police officials said one victim was pronounced dead on the scene. Two others were hospitalized.
The victims’ names have not been released.
Kentravious Rashaun Lark, 18, is charged with murder, attempted murder, first-degree burglary and first-degree robbery.
He was booked into the Lee County Jail shortly after 3:30 a.m. Friday and remains held.
A motive has not been disclosed.
