Teen charged in shooting that started with bar fight in Tuscaloosa
A teen has been charged following a fight at a Tuscaloosa bar that led to another female being shot.
The teen, whose name and age are not being released, is charged as an adult with attempted murder, shooting into an occupied vehicle and certain persons prohibited from possessing a pistol, said Tuscaloosa Violent Crimes Unit Capt. Jack Kennedy.
The teen was arrested late Wednesday and has already been released from jail after posting bonds totaling $76,000.
Tuscaloosa police and Violent Crimes Unit investigators responded about 1 a.m. Wednesday to Temerson Square on a report of a shooting.
Two females, as well as multiple other people, got into a physical altercation at an undisclosed bar.
As one of the females left, the teen suspect fired shots into the vehicle, striking the victim. Her injuries were not life-threatening.
