An investigation is underway after two people – including a teen – were fatally shot in Jefferson County.

Sheriff’s deputies were dispatched at 7:50 p.m. Monday to a shooting at an apartment complex on Chickasaw Drive in Forestdale.

Deputies arrived to find two males inside a crashed vehicle. Both victims were pronounced dead on the scene, said sheriff’s Lt. Joni Money.
