Talladega man sought in connection with Anniston shooting death
Anniston police are looking for a Talladega man in connection with a fatal shooting Wednesday.
The incident happened Wednesday just after 3 a.m., according to Capt. Emily McCullars.
Officers and investigators were called to the 1700 block of Electronics Drive in reference to a gunshot victim.
They found a man, later identified as Jonathan Carter, 44, of Anniston, lying in his vehicle.
It appeared that Carter had been shot. He was transported to Northeast Alabama Regional Medical Center, where he later died.
Keeon Chatman, 30, of Talladega is wanted in connection with the murder. At this time, McCullars said, Chatman’s location is unknown.
