Suspects sought in holdup with shots fired at Birmingham Sunoco

Authorities are asking for the public’s help identifying the suspects in a Birmingham store robbery.

The robbery happened at 2:40 a.m. Wednesday, March 13, at the Sunoco gas station. The business is located at 6805 First Ave. North.

Officer Truman Fitzgerald said the holdup was carried out by three men. One of the suspects fired shots at another man, but no one was injured.

Police on Tuesday released a photo of one of the suspects, and the getaway vehicle.

Anyone with information is asked to call robbery detectives at 205-254-1764. Tipsters can also remain anonymous by calling Crime Stoppers at 205-254-7777.
