Authorities are asking for the public’s help finding a man wanted on an attempted murder charge.

Birmingham police say Tony Hillard, 55, has eluded capture for eight months.

He is charged in a May 24, 2022, shooting of another man. The incident took place in the 4300 block of 13th Avenue South.

The victim was seriously injured.

Hillard is 6-feet tall and weighs 250 pounds.
