A suspect in the shooting death of a 30-year-old Montgomery woman last week has been charged with her murder, police said Monday.

Denikko White, 22, of Montgomery, is being held in the Montgomery County jail without bond after being taken into custody Monday, said Montgomery police Sgt. Tina McGriff.

White was identified as the suspect in the death of 30-year-old Britney Bohannon, who was found with a gunshot wound last Tuesday afternoon in the 3100 block of Fredricksburg Drive.

Bohannon was taken to a local hospital, where she was pronounced dead.
