Suspect jailed on capital murder charges in fatal Talladega shooting
An Anniston man is being held without bond in the Talladega County jail after he was arrested on capital murder charges in the June 17 shooting death of a 22-year-old man, police said Friday.
Daviontae Q’Shawn Malik Snodgress, 23 of Anniston, was charged in connection with the fatal shooting of 22-year-old Anniston resident Quontavius Janard Cooper, police said.
Cooper was shot and killed June 17 at the intersection of East Battle Street and Haynes Street in Talladega.
Snodgress was arrested Wednesday by Talladega detectives and Anniston police.
