Suspect charged with murder of Montgomery man who was ‘always eager to dream big’

A suspect has been charged in the September shooting death of a 25-year-old man in Montgomery.

Ken’Tarious Jermez Burden, 22, is charged with murder in the death of Terrell Fuller, according to court records made public Friday.

Burden has been jailed in the Montgomery County Detention Facility for nearly three months on an unrelated robbery charge.

The deadly shooting happened at 1:40 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 14, in the 3200 block of Virginia Pines Lane, said Maj. Saba Coleman.

Fuller was pronounced dead on the scene. Additional details have not been released.

Fuller’s obituary described him as a “2018 Lee High School graduate with a bright future ahead of him, always eager to dream big and embrace new opportunities.”

He was a member of Abundant Life Fellowship Church where he served as an usher.

“Known for his entrepreneurial spirit, he worked tirelessly, embodying the hustle that defined his approach to life,’’ the obituary read. “Terrell was also a man of talent and confidence, constantly entertaining everyone with his music, humor, cooking, and of course dancing.”

Family said he was deeply committed to his family and friends, always putting their needs before his own.”

Burden is set to have an Aniah’s Law hearing on Monday.
