Suspect charged with murder in fatal Troy shooting that also wounded another
A suspect has been charged with murder in the shooting death Saturday night of a 29-year-old man in Troy,
Dwayne Christian is charged with murder in the death of 29-year-old Ariton resident Quinton Keith Miller, Troy police told WSFA.
Troy police were dispatched to South Brundidge Street around 10:15 p.m. Saturday on a report of a shooting, the outlet reported.
Officers at the scene found two victims with gunshot wounds.
Miller was pronounced dead at the scene while the second victim was taken to a hospital in Dothan for non-life-threatening injuries.
The hospitalized victim has since been released from the facility.
Christian was apprehended at the scene of the shooting. He was later charged with murder and taken to Pike County Jail on $250,000 bail.
