Suspect charged with capital murder in predawn killing of woman in Tuscaloosa
A suspect has been charged in a predawn shooting that left a woman dead in Tuscaloosa.
Ladarious Jaquan Bullock, 25, is charged with capital murder. The victim’s name has not yet been released by authorities.
Tuscaloosa police responded shortly before 3 a.m. Thursday to a report of a traffic crash in the area of 15th Street and Interstate 359.
Once on the scene, they found the victim dead inside her car. Further investigation showed she had been shot, said Tuscaloosa Violent Crimes Unit Capt. Jack Kennedy.
After processing the scene for physical evidence, obtaining video surveillance, and interviewing several witnesses, Bullock was developed as a suspect and later taken into custody.
A motive has not been disclosed.
Kennedy said the investigation is ongoing.
