A 31-year-old man was arrested Sunday in a 2022 Montgomery homicide.

Keenan Gadson, of Montgomery, is charged with capital murder in the shooting death of 26-year-old Jaderrick Richardson.

Richardson was fatally shot on Nov. 27, 2022.

Montgomery police and fire medics responded that Sunday night to the 3900 block of Woodley Road around 11:30 p.m. on a call of a person shot.

Richardson was pronounced dead on the scene. Details of the homicide, and what led to Gadson as a suspect, have not been released by police.

Gadson is being held without bond in the Montgomery County Detention Center.
