A Prattville man is charged in the weekend shooting death of a 26-year-old in Montgomery.

Police on Tuesday announced the arrest of 25-year-old Ivory Brooks in the Saturday slaying of Rayonta Fuller-Anderson.

Brooks was taken into custody Monday on the murder warrant. He remains held without bond in the Montgomery County Detention Center.

Police and fire medics were dispatched at 12:46 a.m. Saturday to a report of a person shot in the 2600 block of Jan Drive, said Maj. Saba Coleman.

Officers arrived to find two victims wounded by the gunfire.

Fuller-Anderson, 26, was pronounced dead on the scene.

The second victim, an adult male, sustained a life-threatening injury. He was taken to the hospital for treatment.

No additional details have been released.
