Suspect charged in Homewood stabbing that seriously injured another man
A Homewood man has been charged in the stabbing of another man in Homewood last week.
Anthony Lamar Patterson, 55, is charged with attempted murder, police announced Friday.
Homewood police were dispatched Dec. 12 to UAB Hospital after police there said the victim was hospitalized and that the stabbing possible happened in Homewood.
Officers were able to interview the victim and determined the assault happened in the 100 block of Aspen Circle, said Sgt. Mark Trippe.
The victim sustained serious but non-life-threatening injuries, Trippe said.
Patterson was booked into the Jefferson County Jail on $60,000 bond.
