Suspect arrested in 2021 Mobile double murder of men shot to death in vehicle
A suspect has been arrested in connection with a double homicide in November 2021, Mobile police announced Monday.
Ardis Perez, 28, is facing two counts of murder and two counts of discharging a firearm into an unoccupied vehicle in the deaths of Dwan Williams and Andre Carter.
About 3:20 a.m. on Nov. 21, 2021, Mobile police were summoned to the 6200 block of Rangeline Road after reports of gunshots in the area.
Once on the scene, officers found both Williams and Carter inside a vehicle, dead from apparent gunshot wounds.
According to the Mobile County District Attorney’s Office, Perez was taken into custody in California and extradited to Alabama.
