‘Survivor’ season 44 premiere: How to watch and where to stream
The hit reality competition series Survivor is back for its 44th season set to premiere on CBS Wednesday, March 1 at 8/7c.
Those who want to watch tonight’s two-hour episode, but have already ditched regular cable, can still stream the premiere live with FuboTV or Paramount+.
If you’re not sure which streaming service to go with, here’s the breakdown.
Paramount+ offers a variety of popular channels such as Nickelodeon, the Smithsonian Channel, VH1, MTV, Comedy Central, BET and, most recently, CBS All-Access that allows users to live stream certain content (such as Survivor).
Subscribers can either select the essentials plan for $4.99 with limited ads or the premium package for $9.99 without ads. However, you will need the premium package to live-stream new episodes of Survivor.
First time Paramount+ subscribers can also take advantage of its 1-week free trial.
Meanwhile, FuboTV is one of the better alternatives to regular cable.
It’s a sports-focused streaming service with over 100 live channels to choose from that include shows like Saturday Night Live, Yellowstone, The Voice and much more for $74.99 a month.
FuboTV also offers a free trial so you can watch for free before committing to anything.
What is Survivor about?
Stranded in the beautiful islands of Fiji, 18 determined new castaways will be divided into three tribes of six and forced to form a new society as they adapt to their physical and social surroundings.
The mental and physical challenges force players to choose between personal risk and reward, while still navigating the complex social game and attempting to forge alliances to last another day.
The individuals competing are from diverse backgrounds with the same ultimate goal: to outwit, outplay and outlast and ultimately be crowned Sole Survivor.
The show is hosted and executive produced by Emmy Award winner Jeff Probst.
