Superintendent: Huntsville schools’ capital plan must be approved by federal judge

Huntsville City Schools’ $600 million, 10-year capital plan must be approved by the federal judge overseeing the district’s desegregation efforts.

Superintendent Clarence Sutton and School Board President Ryan Renaud told parents at a public forum at Huntsville High School on Tuesday that the plan was part of the district’s effort to get out from under its desegregation order.
