Super Bowl protester taken down during Kendrick Lamar performance

Most people were watching Kendrick Lamar’s performance during Sunday’s Super Bowl in New Orleans between the Philadelphia Eagles and Kansas City Chiefs.

While social media was generally down on the Super Bowl halftime performance, one person in attendance decided to use the venue as a protest.

A person was spotted on the stage waving a Palestinian flag. The protester appeared to go unnoticed for a couple of minutes before security stepped in.

The Pro Palestine protestor was taken away from the game.

In a video shared on social media, one of the background dancers opened a Palestinian flag before running off the stage to avoid security.

Kendrick Lamar’s 13-minute halftime set leaned heavily on the past year, with half of the songs in his 10-song set coming from his 2024 album “GNX.” Here’s are all the songs he included:

  • “Squabble Up”
  • “Humble”
  • “DNA”
  • “Euphoria”
  • “Man at the Garden”
  • “Peekaboo”
  • “Luther featuring SZA”
  • “All the Stars featuring SZA”
  • “Not Like Us”
  • “TV Off”
