The AHSAA softball state championship tournament ended five days of play on Friday with seven state champions crowned during the week.

Champions were Class 7A Hewitt-Trussville, Class 6A Athens, Class 5A Jasper, Class 4A Orange Beach, Class 3A Opp, Class 2A Wicksburg and Class 1A Skyline.

There was plenty of action with extra innings, no-hitters, lots of offensive fireworks and extra games needed to decide some titles.
