Subway is offering customers a buy one, get one free deal on footlong subs for a limited time

Fans of Subway sandwiches are in for a deal.

Subway is kicking off the month of May by offering customers a deal.

Through Monday, May 13, customers can buy one footlong sub and get one sub of equal or lesser value for free.

Customers can access the deal exclusively through the Subway app or online with offer code FLBOGO. The deal excludes footlong “Sidekicks,” which include footlong cookies, churros and pretzels, according to USA TODAY.

Additionally, now through June 30, for every $25 gift card purchased in-restaurant and online, customers will receive a bonus card redeemable for a free 6-inch sub, with four bonuses maximum for purchases over $100, the company said in a news release. The bonus card redemption period lasts through July 31.

New menu items at Subway

Subway launched a new menu this month. The new sandwiches aren’t subs but instead are served on flatbreads.

“Inspired by Middle Eastern cuisine, Subway’s new lavash-style flatbread has a soft and bubbly texture,” the chain said in a press release. “It also holds more ingredients than a wheat tortilla, giving Subway’s new wraps a footlong protein portion in a six-inch size.”

Here’s a look at the new menu items:

  • Homestyle Chicken Salad – made fresh in restaurants using rotisserie-style chicken and mayo, topped with lettuce, spinach, tomatoes, cucumber and red onion.
  • Honey Mustard Chicken – loaded with rotisserie-style chicken, topped with lettuce, tomatoes, red onions and Monterey cheddar cheese, and Honey Mustard sauce.
  • Turkey, Bacon & Avocado – piled high with oven-roasted turkey, bacon and smashed avocado, topped with lettuce, tomatoes, red onions, Monterey cheddar cheese and Peppercorn Ranch sauce.
  • Cali Caprese – BelGioioso fresh mozzarella and avocado, topped with lettuce, spinach, tomatoes, red onions, cucumbers, roasted garlic aioli and MVP Parmesan Vinaigrette.
