The top-ranked senior basketball player in the state is transferring to IMG Academy.

Westminster Christian 4-star recruit Chase McCarty announced his intentions on social media on Sunday.

McCarty is ranked the No. 1 prospect in the Class of 2024 by 247Sports and has college offers from Alabama, Tennessee, Kansas, Houston, Gonzaga, Illinois, Cincinnati and more.

The 6-foot-6 guard/small forward was ASWA Class 4A first team all-state and named to the Super All-State team. He averaged 23.7 points and 6.5 rebounds a game and was a finalist for Class 4A Player of the Year. McCarty scored double figures in every game he played and had 45 steals and 24 blocks.

McCarty helped Westminster to the Class 4A championship game before falling to Jacksonville.
