Starbucks is aiming to make the holidays a little brighter with a new seasonal drink.

Merry Mint White Mocha has joined the 2023 holiday lineup at the mega-popular coffee chain. The new drink features espresso with a white chocolate sauce, mint and ice topped with peppermint chocolate cream cold foam and chocolate curls.

The drink will only be available through Dec. 22 and there’s another catch – you need the Starbucks app to order.

Score a free hot chocolate

If you stop into Starbucks and grab a Merry Mint White Mocha, you can also score a free hot chocolate.

Hot Chocolate Cheer Weekend is back at Starbucks every Saturday and Sunday in December. You can get a free short hot chocolate with the purchase of a grande or larger handcrafted drink.

The offer is valid Dec.16/17, 23/24 and 30/31 at participating U.S. stores. There’s a limit of one free short per purchase; iced brewed coffee and tea and ready-to-drink beverages are excluded.
