St. Clair County patrol vehicle stolen from deputyâs home in Moody, wrecked on I-20, sheriff says
A search is underway for the suspect or suspects who authorities say stole a St. Clair County Sheriff’s Office patrol cruiser early Monday.
The car was stolen from a deputy’s residence in Moody at 3:20 a.m., said Sheriff Billy Murry.
The driver of the stolen car struck another vehicle on I-20 and fled the scene. It was not immediately clear if there were any injuries.
Multiple agencies are actively searching for the suspect or suspects.
The crash is being worked by the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency.
