Sprite dropping a new flavor for the summer, promises cooling sensation
Sprite is releasing a new flavor for the summer.
Earlier this week, Sprite’s parent company Coca-Cola announced the brand’s latest beverage, Sprite Chill, a twist on its classic drink with cherry-lime flavoring.
The new beverage will also come with a cooling sensation thanks to its “proprietary blend of cooling agents” that deliver an “elevated sensory experience,” according to Food & Wine.
Coca-Cola says Sprite Chill is “one of the first sparkling soft drinks” that presents a cooling sensation without mint flavor, reports Eat This, Not That. The drink will also be available in standard and zero-sugar varieties.
“When people think about Sprite, they think about cut-through refreshment,” Kate Schaufelberger, Brand Director, Sprite, said in a statement. “With Sprite Chill, we’re doubling down on these signature intrinsics while continuing our legacy of strategic flavor innovation and quenching fans’ thirst for variety and the exclusive badge value associated with trying and sharing limited-time-only beverages and experiences.”
The drinks will be available through July or while supplies last.
