Spotify Wrapped 2023 release date: Top songs, artists; what were you listening to in 2023?

Want to look back at 2023 but in song version? If you’re one of the millions of Spotify users, today is your day.

Spotify Wrapped was released today (Wednesday, Nov. 29). The info, released annually since 2016, shows users their top 100 songs and most-streamed musicians, among other data. The streaming service also releases its data showing the year’s top artists, songs and podcasts.

The service is mega-popular with more than 156 million users accessing their Wrapped data, according to Time.

To access your personal info, you must be subscribed to Spotify. Those using the latest version of the app will be directed to Wrapped while desktop and mobile users can type in “Wrapped” in the search bar or find Spotify’s Wrapped button on the home page.

Overall, Taylor Swift was this year’s top artists with more than 26.1 billion global streams since Jan. 1. Coming in second was reggae superstar Bad Bunny with The Weeknd, Drake, and Peso Pluma rounding out the top 5. Top song of the year was “Flowers” by Miley Cyrus with 1.6 billion streams globally. In the second and third spots were “Kill Bill” by SZA and “As It Was” by Harry Styles. The fourth and fifth spots come from Jung Kook with “Seven (feat. Latto),” and Eslabon Armado and Peso Pluma with “Ella Baila Sola.”
