Spoiled sandwiches, ‘fuzzy white residue’ and ‘green buildup’: Madison County’s worst rated restaurants
Five Madison County eating establishments scored 84 or below on their health department inspections in June — the threshold that triggers a reinspection within 60 days.
“Residue” and “buildup” that was described as “fuzzy” was a problem at several of the county’s worst offenders in June.
At a convenience store, sandwiches that were spoiled had “fuzzy white residue” on them.
Another establishment had a problem with flies.

Wings and noodles were kept at inappropriate temperatures.
An unpermitted commissary site was used near the mobile operating site.

Containers were used with cracked lids.
