What a mess.

A truck carrying chicken remains spilled Friday afternoon in Guntersville.

“Gunter Avenue/US Hwy 431/Florida Short Route is closed between Lurleen B. Wallace Drive and Scott Street due to a vehicular accident involving a commercial poultry remains transport truck,” a post from the Guntersville Police Department states.

Drivers are being asked to avoid roadways affected by the accident as crews cleanup the spill.

A notice will be issued when the roadway is reopened.
