No. 8-ranked St. Michael outscored Orange Beach 8-3 in overtime and won a low-scoring game 35-30 to clinch the Class 4A South Regional title and earn the school’s first trip to the AHSAA final four.

The Cardinals (23-3) will play No. 4 Good Hope in the state semifinals at 3 p.m. Tuesday at Birmingham’s Legacy Arena.
