5.5 Sacks have been recorded by South Carolina edge Kyle Kennard this season, tied for the most in the SEC. Alabama has allowed seven sacks this season.

9 Consecutive South Carolina games have featured at least one takeaway by the Gamecocks. In its five games this season, South Carolina has 10 takeaways. The Gamecocks have intercepted six passes and recovered four of their opponents’ 11 fumbles in 2024. Alabama has lost seven turnovers this season. The Crimson Tide has thrown two interceptions and lost five of its eight fumbles.

13 Victories for Alabama and three for South Carolina in the Crimson Tide/Gamecocks series. The teams haven’t met since the Crimson Tide’s 47-23 victory on Sept. 14, 2019. South Carolina will be playing in Tuscaloosa on Saturday for the first time since Oct. 17, 2009. South Carolina’s three wins have come in the past six meetings. Alabama has won all seven of the meetings when the Crimson Tide is ranked and the Gamecocks are not.

The Crimson Tide lost to Mississippi State 17-12 on Nov. 10, 2007, in an SEC game that kicked off at 11:34 a.m. CST in Starkville. Since then, Alabama has won games that kicked off in the morning against Arkansas in 2008, North Texas and Chattanooga in 2009, Kent State in 2011, Western Carolina in 2012, Georgia State in 2013, Florida Atlantic in 2014, Kent State and Mississippi State in 2016, Mercer in 2017, Louisiana-Lafayette, Arkansas and The Citadel in 2018, Southern Miss, Mississippi State and Western Carolina in 2019, Arkansas in 2020, New Mexico State in 2021, Texas, Austin Peay and Kent State in 2022, Arkansas, Kentucky and Chattanooga in 2023 and Wisconsin in 2024.

28.6 Yards per reception have been averaged by Alabama WR Ryan Williams this season, the best in nation among players with at least 10 receptions. Williams has 19 receptions for 544 yards and six TDs. He has more receiving yards than any other freshman in the nation.

38 Fourth-, fifth- and sixth-year players are on South Carolina’s roster. Nationally, only Eastern Michigan with 39 has more such players. Eleven South Carolina players graduated from high school in 2019.

40 Consecutive home games have been won in October by Alabama. The Crimson Tide hasn’t been beaten at Bryant-Denny Stadium in the 10th month since South Carolina took a 20-3 victory on Oct. 2, 2004. During that winning streak, Alabama has a 27-7 record on the road in October.

101 Rushing yards for South Carolina RB Raheim Sanders in his previous game against Alabama. Sanders had one TD, too, on 22 carries against the Crimson Tide on Oct. 1, 2022, when Sanders played for Arkansas in the Razorbacks’ 49-26 loss to Alabama.

122 Alabama points have been the responsibility of QB Jalen Milroe, whose responsibility-average of 24.4 points per game is the highest in the nation this season. Milroe has 11 TD passes, nine TD runs and one 2-point conversion pass.

146 Games have been played by Alabama since the Crimson Tide most recently lost two in a row, the nation’s longest streak without consecutive losses. Alabama fell to Auburn 34-28 and to Oklahoma 45-31 in the Sugar Bowl to end the 2013 season. Alabama has lost 15 games since the back-to-back losses, including its most recent outing. The Crimson Tide lost to Vanderbilt 40-35 in its previous game.

201.2 Is the passing-efficiency rating for Alabama QB Jalen Milroe this season, the highest in the nation. Passing-efficiency rating uses a player’s rate of completions, touchdowns and interceptions and the average gain per pass to produce its measurement. Milroe has completed 80-of-109 passes for 1,274 yards with 11 TDs and two interceptions.

315 Games have been played by Alabama since it was most recently shut out. Alabama’s scoring streak is the third-longest in SEC history. Alabama’s most recent shutout loss came 9-0 to Auburn on Nov. 18, 2000.
