The Sun Belt Conference has announced that several men’s and women’s basketball games scheduled for Thursday have been postponed due to travel difficulties associated with winter storm Enzo.

South Alabama’s men’s basketball game at Louisiana-Monroe will now take place at 6:30 p.m. Monday. The Jaguars (14-5, 6-1 Sun Belt) will play at Troy at 5 p.m. Saturday as scheduled.

Troy’s Thursday men’s home game vs. Southern Miss has been moved to Monday at 7 p.m. The Trojans (11-7, 4-3) will host South Alabama on Saturday as scheduled.

South Alabama’s women’s home game vs. Louisiana-Monroe has been moved to Saturday, Feb. 8. The Jaguars (4-14, 0-7) next play at 2 p.m. Saturday at home vs. Arkansas State.

Winter storm Enzo dropped more than six inches of snow across the Gulf Coast region, with cities such as Mobile and Hattiesburg enduring record levels that forced the closure of numerous roads and bridges.
