Sonic rolls out new imited $1 menu for 3 hours every day

Sonic is rolling out a special menu for part of the summer.

The popular food spot is launching “Snacky Hour” — a 3-hour window of $1 menu items. Sonic fans can get a corn dog, 2-piece mozzarella sticks and pretzel twist for $1 each for a window between 2 – 5 p.m., People reported.

More deals from Sonic:

Sonic is also giving customers a deal on beverages. From 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. daily, Sonic is handing out half-price drinks and Slushes.

On Mondays, Sonic is offering medium Slushes for 99 cents, and on Thursdays, the fast food chain is offering two Footlong Quarter Pound Coneys for the price of one.

More fast food meal deal options:

In July, McDonald’s added a new item to its McValue Meal Deal the Daily Double cheeseburger.

The sandwich has two beef patties, a slice of American cheese, shredded lettuce, onions, mayo, and two tomato slices. McDonald’s tested the burger in a number of markets, including Chicago, Miami, and Seattle. The burger chain says the sandwich will be on the menu nationwide for the remainder of the year, reports USA TODAY.

Customers can add the Daily Double as part of a McValue Meal Deal that comes with a 4-piece order of Chicken McNuggets, small fries and small drink.
