Smith Lake home sold for $4.345 million, highest price ever
A mammoth waterfront home on Smith Lake has just sold for a whopping $4.345 million, the highest price ever for the area.
The sprawling 9,470-square-foot house, at 351 County Road 2014 in Crane Hill, was built by Casey Wheeler of Wheeler Homes in 2023 on a 1.82 acre lot.
The seven-bedroom, seven-and-a-half bath house in the Pointe Sixteen Development, bested the previous record price of $3.6 million, according to Lake Homes Realty.
The three-level home has a spacious 3,146-square-foot basement and a five-stall garage, a saltwater pool with infinity edge, a speakeasy bar, and a bunk room above the garage. The interior has custom beams and a wrought iron staircase with custom wood planks.
The solid rock shoreline rests along a gentle sloping lot with a double dock. It also has a putting green and 12-foot tanning ledge on the pool with linear stairs.
The sellers were represented by Justin Dyar from Lake Homes Realty, while J.W. Hightower from the same agency assisted the buyers.
Dyar said the lake home real estate market is off to a “very strong” start in 2025.
“We anticipate a busy year,” he said. “As we approach spring and summer, our buyer activity dramatically improves. Over half of our business comes from 1 to 3 hours away. We reach Nashville, Franklin, and Brentwood, Tenn., as well as Memphis, Huntsville and Birmingham, of course.”
