Six fun and educational things to do in coastal Alabama this week
Now that Mobile and Baldwin County schools are officially out for the summer, more and more places are offering activities for kids during the week and on the weekend.
But for the adults who are also looking for (or need) a break this summer, here are a few fun and educational activities to do in coastal Alabama this week.
Daphne Public Library Adult Summer Reading Kickoff; June 6, 10 a.m.-12 p.m., Daphne Civic Center, Daphne, AL
Summer reading isn’t just for kids. The Daphne Public Library will be hosting their own summer reading program for adults ages 18 and up. Those interested in participating will receive a packet of materials and a schedule of events for the summer reading program at the kickoff event.
