The Neptune’s Daughters celebrated its 28th annual Mardi Gras ball on Saturday, Feb. 12, at the Mobile Civic Center.

The theme for the tableau was “Daughters of Oz,” and everyone who attended seemed to have a “mermazing” time with the mermaids. The event was emceed by WZEW’s own Gene Murrell and the stage decoration by Ron Barrett and company featured the Yellow Brick Road, the Emerald City and a giant “Surrender Dorothy” sign above it all.

Music for the evening was provided by Fly-By Radio and DJ Matt McCoy.
