An out-of-state investor paid $1.1 million for Monroe Square, a 71,000-square-foot shopping center at 1838 S. Alabama Ave., in Monroeville, according to Andrew Dickman of Stirling Properties, who represented the seller.

A local physician paid $205,000 for the former Whole Hog Bar B Q property at 307 Young St., in Fairhope, and plans to develop his medical offices there, according to Kim Ward of Kim Ward Realty, who handled the transaction. The seller was Leodis Mitchell, who has owned the property since the 1940s. Dr. Lynn Yonge was the buyer.

The former Beckham’s Florist & Gifts building on 1.93 acres at 7850 Airport Blvd., in Mobile, was purchased by investors for $215,000, according to John M. Delchamps of Merrill P. Thomas Co., who handled the transaction.

Health Connect America has leased 4,841 square feet of office space at 6404 HIllcrest Park Court in Mobile, according to Jeff Barnes of Stirling Properties, who represented the landlord. Josh Hall of CRE Mobile worked for the tenant. Health Connect America provides mental and behavioral health services to foster children, families, and adults in Alabama and six other southern states.

Caldwell Wenzel & Asthana, PC Injury & Accident Lawyers has leased 1,750 square feet of office space at 1110 Hillcrest Road in Mobile, according to Angie and Kaelan McArthur of Stirling Properties, who represented the landlord. Jeff Barnes of Stirling Properties worked for the tenant. The law firm serves the Mobile, Foley and Daphne areas and plans to relocate the Mobile office to the new office next month.

Healthy Harvest CBD has leased 2,944 square feet of retail space in Top Music Plaza at 3656 Government Blvd., in Mobile, according to Kaelan McArthur of Stirling Properties, who represented the landlord.
