Quarterback Shondell Harris rushed for 126 yards and a touchdown and passed for 150 yards and another score to lead No. 4-ranked Mary G. Montgomery to a 35-20 win over visiting Fairhope in a crucial 7A, Region 1 contest at E.S. Grider Stadium on Friday night.

“It’s always tough against those guys so I was really pleased we were able to score early,” MGM coach Zach Golson said. “I think that really helped set the tone for the game. (Harris) is really special, and he has a lot of playmakers around him.”
