A Shelby County man is jailed on more than a dozen child pornography charges.

Justin Trevor Rhodes, 44, was taken into custody Thursday, according to court records made public Friday.

He is charged with 10 counts of child pornography possession and six counts of possession of child pornography with intent to distribute.

Charging documents against Rhodes state he was in possession of numerous videos, including one that showed a girl believed to be under the age of 11 having sex with an adult man. Another video showed a young boy who was nude.

Rhodes, of Calera, is being held in the Shelby County Jail on bonds totaling $330,000. His first court date is set for February.
