A car crash between two Sheffield patrol vehicles left officers injured Saturday afternoon.

Shoals Insider reported that both officers were en route to an alarm call when the crash occurred at the intersection of Atlanta Avenue and Hatch Boulevard at 12:30 p.m. Saturday.

The officers were taken to a local hospital to receive treatment for the injuries sustained. They are expected to make a full recovery.

Shoals Insider also stated that Tuscumbia police were called to work the wreck as it involved two Sheffield police vehicles.
