Selma man killed after hitting horse with car early Tuesday morning
A Selma man was killed after he struck a horse while driving early Tuesday morning in Dallas County, authorities said.
Darius G. Jones, 31, was driving a 2016 Ford Fiesta around 12:30 a.m. Tuesday when he struck the horse, left the road and overturned on Dallas County Road 48, about two miles east of Selma, said Cpl. Reginal King of the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency.
Jones was pronounced dead at the scene, King said.
