See who Barack Obama, Sydney Thomas, Rece Davis, other celebrities picked in March Madness 2025 bracket

The beauty of (or perhaps the problem with) March Madness is that everyone can be an expert, from television basketball analysts to your co-worker two offices over.

Numerous celebrities have publicly released their 2025 NCAA tournament brackets in the last day or so, and the picks are all over the place. Here’s a sampling:

Barack Obama

The former President was famous for filling out his bracket on live television during his time in the White House, but he released it through social media this year. Obama picks Duke to win it all, but has Auburn to reach the Final Four and Alabama in the Elite Eight.

Seth Davis

The CBS Sports analyst has Florida as his national champion. He has Auburn losing in the Elite Eight to Kentucky, and Alabama falling in the Sweet 16 to BYU.

Nickelback

The Canadian rockers filled out their bracket collectively, it seems. They have Florida as national champion and both Alabama and Auburn falling in the Elite Eight.

Bert Kreischer

The comedian and podcaster, a Florida State graduate, picks Auburn to win the national championship. He has Alabama losing to Oregon in the Elite Eight round.

Jamal Crawford

The former NBA and Michigan star is also going with the Auburn Tigers as national champion. He also picks Alabama to reach the Final Four, losing to Houston.

Rip Hamilton

No surprise that the former Connecticut star and Most Outstanding Player of the 1999 NCAA tournament is going with his Huskies to win it all. Hamilton, who also won an NBA title with the Detroit Pistons in 2004, has Alabama in the Final Four, but Auburn losing in the Elite Eight to Iowa State.

Michael Harris

The Atlanta Braves center fielder went off the board by taking Texas Tech to win the national championship. He has both Alabama and Auburn in the Final Four, with the Crimson Tide losing to his home state Georgia Bulldogs.

Bijan Robinson

The Atlanta Falcons standout has Florida to win the national championship, but chaos elsewhere in the bracket. He picks No. 12 seed UC San Diego — coached by Mobile native Eric Olen — to upset Auburn in the Sweet 16 and reach the Final Four, and has Alabama falling to St. Mary’s in the Round of 16 as well.

Jay Bilas

The ESPN analyst and Duke graduate has taken a lot of heat online for his “chalk” Final Four picks. Bilas has all four No. 1 seeds — Auburn, Florida, Duke and Houston — reaching the Final Four (which has happened only once — in 2008 — since the tournament expanded to 64 teams in 1985). He has Alabama and Auburn both in the Elite Eight.

Al Roker

We don’t have the NBC weatherman and Today Show co-host’s entire bracket, but we do know that Roker picked Alabama as national champion. He wasn’t the only Today cast member who went off the board for a national title pick.

Stephen A. Smith

The ESPN host and NBA analyst picks Florida as his national champion. He has both Alabama and Auburn reaching the Elite Eight.

Dick Vitale

The longtime ESPN college basketball analyst picks Duke as national champion (not such a surprise, given that detractors often refer to him as “Duke” Vitale). He has Auburn losing to Michigan in the Sweet 16, but Alabama reaching the Elite Eight.

Rece Davis

The ESPN College GameDay host and Alabama graduate has Florida as his national champion. He has both Auburn and Alabama losing in the Elite Eight round.

Ryan Smith

The ESPN SportsCenter anchor picks Auburn to win the national championship. He has Alabama losing to Duke in the Elite Eight.

Jack Gohlke

The former Oakland star — who made eight 3-pointers in a first-round upset of Kentucky in last year’s NCAA tournament — picks the Wildcats to lose again, this time to Troy. Gohlke has Houston as his national champion, with Alabama and Auburn both falling in the Elite Eight.

Dari Nowkhah

The longtime ESPN and SEC Network host picks Auburn to win the national champion, beating Houston in the title game. He has Alabama falling to Duke in the Elite Eight.

Ryan McGee

The ESPN.com writer and SEC Network host picks Florida to win the national championship. He has Auburn losing to Michigan State in the Elite Eight, but Alabama falling to BYU in the Sweet 16.

Sydney Thomas

The viral social media sensation and Alabama student picks the Crimson Tide to win the national championship, beating Missouri. Perhaps not surprisingly, she picks Alabama State to beat Auburn in the first round (before falling to UC San Diego in Round 2).
