AL.com picked Montgomery Catholic to win the AHSAA Class 5A volleyball championship and readers agreed.

Montgomery Catholic received 38 percent of the vote while Arab picked up 24 percent and “Someone else” garnered 18 percent.

The Knights were to top pick from AL.com despite moving up to Class 5A this season after winning the past two Class 4A championships.

Arab was picked third by AL.com after winning to the Class 5A championship match before losing in both 2022 and 2023.
