Multiple agencies were involved in a high speed chase that began in Tennessee and ended abruptly in Morgan County.

According to the Morgan County Sheriff’s Office, the pursuit ended this morning on Interstate 65.

As of about 10 a.m., Morgan County deputies assisted other agencies with a pursuit down Interstate 65.

State Troopers with the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency were also involved.

According to Morgan County, the driver wrecked, attempted to elude on foot, and is now in custody.

Authorities have not yet released the name of the driver, or other details of how the chase began.
