Day 3 of the Alabama High School Athletic Association basketball regional tournaments delivered lots of outstanding performances.

Each day during the regionals, the Lede will rank seven key efforts that highlighted the day. Here are Thursday’s key performances:

7. Caleb Holt, Buckhorn (boys, Northwest)

The Mr. Basketball candidate sparked Class 6A No. 1 Buckhorn’s come-from-behind 61-51 win over No. 4 Clay-Chalkville. Holt scored 21 points and hauled down 21 rebounds. He also had 2 assists and 2 steals.
