Second suspect facing capital murder charges in slaying of Montgomery man
Montgomery police on Tuesday charged a second suspect with capital murder in the fatal shooting of a 66-year-old man during a robbery late last month.
Kenneth Huffman, Jr., 24, of Montgomery, was charged with two counts of capital murder in the Aug. 25 slaying of Montgomery resident Rickey Daniel, 66, said Maj. Saba Coleman.
Huffman was taken into custody Tuesday and placed in the Montgomery County jail without bond.
His arrest comes nearly a week after Jayln Greene, 24, was charged with capital murder and robbery in Daniel’s death.
Daniel was pronounced dead at the scene of the shooting in the 4200 block of Sussex Drive.
