SEC Network’s SEC Nation set to come to Auburn for Iron Bowl

When the Alabama Crimson Tide, which currently ranks eighth in the College Football Playoff rankings, rolls into Auburn on Nov. 25 for this year’s edition of the Iron Bowl Rivalry, it won’t do so without some added attention.

SEC Nation, which airs from different campuses across the conference each week, announced from Knoxville on Saturday morning that its last stop of the regular season would be for this year’s Iron Bowl rivalry between Nick Saban and the Crimson Tide and Hugh Freeze and the Auburn Tigers.

While Alabama comes to The Plains looking to add a win to its College Football Playoff resume, Auburn will be looking to squash those hopes with an upset win on rivalry weekend.

But before next week’s large-looming Iron Bowl, both the Crimson Tide (9-1) and the Tigers (6-4) will have to be sure they don’t fall victim to trap games as Alabama hosts Chattanooga on Saturday at 11 a.m. and Auburn hosts New Mexico State on Saturday at 3 p.m.

The last time SEC Nation, which is made up of Paul Finebaum, Tim Tebow, Laura Rutledge, Jordan Rodgers and Roman Harper, made its way to Auburn was last season as the Tigers hosted the Penn State Nittany Lions — a game that saw Auburn lose 41-12.

SEC Nation is set to air from 9-11 a.m. CT.
