Authorities are asking for the public’s help in locating a 45-year-old man missing since last week.

Ricky Montel Johnson was last seen Thursday, Oct. 12, leaving his Opelika home. He was driving a 2010 gray Nissan Altima.

Investigators say Johnson may be experiencing cognitive issues that could affect his safety.

He is described as a Black male, 5-feet, 9-inches tall and weighing 175 pounds.

Johnson was last seen wearing a white t-shirt and khaki shorts with his hair styled in short twists. He also has a tattoo with “1978″ on his wrist.
