RuPaul’s âNight of the Living Dragâ tour coming to Alabama
The annual “RuPaul’s Drag Race” Halloween production “Night of the Living Drag” will present shows in two Alabama cities this October.
The show will hit the Mobile Saenger Theatre on Oct. 22, a Sunday, then the Alabama Theatre in Birmingham on Tuesday, Oct 24. Tickets for the Mobile show start at $42.90 plus fees; general public sales start at 10 a.m. Friday, Aug. 18, through Ticketmaster outlets including the Saenger box office. Tickets for the Birmingham show go on sale at the same time, also through Ticketmaster.
Promotional materials don’t provide much of a description of the show, other than some “Twilight Zone”-themed imagery. Previous tours have included a riff on the seven deadly sins.
The roster of performers taking part in this year’s tour includes host Yvie Oddly plus Angeria, Denali, Icesis Couture, Jaida Essence Hall, Jorgeous, Plastique, Rose and Tayce.
