Runaway deer shuts down store at Pennsylvania mall
Maybe it was looking to spend a few bucks.
A deer got loose in the JCPenney store at the Park City Center mall in Lancaster, Pennsylvania on Thursday, causing the store to temporarily close, according to a story from LancasterOnline.
An employee told the news outlet that the deer entered the mall through a door near the mall’s Qdoba restaurant, before making its way into the nearby JCPenney. People inside the store told LancasterOnline that the deer had made its way to the dressing rooms.
Mall employees called the Pennsylvania Game Commission, who managed to get the deer out of the store.
The JCPenney store was closed that afternoon. Managers there declined to comment to LancasterOnline.
