The Rocket City Blues Festival is returning to the Propst Arena at Von Braun Center in Huntsville on Feb. 28, 2025, beginning at 8 p.m.

Presented by Heritage Entertainment, the festival will include performances by King George, Tucka, Pokey Bear, J-Wonn, West Love and Ronnie Bell. According to the festival’s description, the night will be filled with musical storytelling comprised of stark emotion, tragedy and adversity.

Who are the performers?

• King George is a vocalist/songwriter from South Carolina known for instilling old-school flair into his R&B tracks. One of his biggest songs to date is “Keep on Rollin.”
• Tucka is a vocalist out of Louisiana who first came onto the scene in 2007 before taking on a solo career later in 2008. He recently released a song in Feb. 2025 titled “Turn Me Loose.”
• Pokey Bear is a vocalist based out of Louisiana known in the R&B community for infusing a bit of the bayou into his music. Some of his most streamed songs include “My Sidepiece (No More),” “They Call Me Pokey,” and “Older Woman.”
• J-Wonn is a vocalist from Mississippi who first fell in love with the blues from spending time with his mother and grandmother growing up. He recently released a song titled “Say You Want It” in Feb. 2025.
• West Love is a vocalist that hails from Georgia known for her incredible stage presence. Her latest song titled “Country Man” was released in December.
• Ronnie Bell is a vocalist from Louisiana who, during his teenage years, performed with the group George Perkins & the Voices of Harmony. Now soul-blues is deeply woven within the songs he releases.
