Rock legend crashes weather report, urges to ‘party every day’
Gene Simmons maybe known as the god of thunder, but he was all about the sunny conditions Thursday in Los Angeles when he added meteorologist to his resume.
The “KISS” vocalist joined FOX 11 in California on set to deliver his version of a weather report, urging viewers to “party every day.”
“Hold onto your britches,” he said. “I’m not your usual weatherman.”
He joined meteorologist Adam Krueger to deliver the weekend forecast.
“The weatherman approached me and asked me if I wanted to jump on and do the weather,” Simmons told “Entertainment Weekly.”
“Of course! But I told him, ‘Hold onto your britches. I’m not your usual weatherman. Weather advisory is in order.’”
The rock star wasn’t shy about talking weather.
“So this weekend it’s looking pretty good if people want to rock and roll all night,” Krueger said, reciting lyrics from Kiss classic “Rock and Roll All Nite.”
“They should probably party every day, yeah,” Simmons replied, filling in the blanks.
